Transition Coat x Black Mules

Fall is upon us. Hashtag fina-freaking-lly. The past two weeks or so, Norcal and Sacramento in particular, have been raining and pouring- and I love it. The minute I see a raindrop, I'm one of those people that will pull out my thickest coat. But, there are days where the weather is chilly, but not chilly enough to wear a thick coat. That's why this coat is perfect. It's what I call a transition coat.  It's just the right amount of material to get you through the cold (but not so cold) days of the Fall. So many brands often start putting out light coats like these in the beginning weeks of fall, if you’re looking to browse and shop around, check out Simply Be and more options below.

Mules have been making their way into so many closets this past Summer and they're staying for the Fall and Winter seasons. We're seeing mules in black, brown and berry colors. The ones I have on in this look are these New Look black suede mules with a nice little block heel. Major plus: they are beyond comfortable. If you have wide feet, they're going to be the perfect pair of mules for you. I finished the look off with my favorite cross body, a super old black beanie, simple black top, and black distressed jeans.
