Transitioning Into Spring

My post last week was about welcoming spring and, although we did welcome it, we still have not said our final goodbyes to the cold weather and rain. So, in today’s post I figured I’d show you how to incorporate a little bit of winter and spring in one look. When the weather is sunny but it’s windy and cold (and may sprinkle a bit), I find this color combo to be just right. With the help of this light purple melange sweater from H&M (I am wearing size XL) and these periwinkle colored earrings, I am giving what would otherwise be a more neutral winter look, some spring vibes. I find that it is a lot easier for me to wear and style colors that are more pastel and light, like this sweater, and pair them with colors I almost always have in my closet (i.e. camel, black, white, grey, etc.). This Old Navy coat and these ASOS Wide Fit boots completed the look and allowed me to stay warm in this sunny (yet freezing) weather.
