Styling and Reviewing Wide Fit Heeled Boots
Growing up, it was often really hard for me to find cute and trendy shoes that fit me properly. With small yet wide feet, the options weren’t many. I often had to pass up on styles like pointy flats and boots because I just knew my feet would be unhappy. As the world of fashion and retail has grown, it has been amazing to see brands like ASOS and New Look sell shoes that are not only on trend, but cater to people with wider feet. I have been beyond satisfied with every single shoe purchase I have made on ASOS and New Look. I was so excited to see these Truffle Collection boots on ASOS’ wide fit selection and I was even more excited to see that they were on sale for $30 (originally 98$). I had to buy them and blog about them. In this post, I definitely built the look around the shoes. I wanted to play around with the copper gold heel and pair it with this camel vest (previously seen in my Striped Blouse and Camel Vest post) and this snake print top that I got from Old Navy ages ago. These jeans are definitely a washed out black, which I actually really like with this type of look. It adds an edge, especially with the DIY fringe at the bottom. I topped it off with this awesome choker from ASOS and my go-to Rebecca Minkoff bag and voila!
My Review Of The Boots
So, I wore these for about 4 hours and my feet were super happy. I love the thickness of the block heel, majority of my heeled shoes are like that because I like the support they provide. I do want to mention that I caught these boots as they were on sale and almost out of stock. The only sizes left were 5, 7 and 9, I believe. When it comes to most shoes, wide and non-wide fit, I am a true 8.5. Sometimes, I’ll go up to a 9 in non-wide fit shoes just to get that extra space in the width of the shoe. I decided with these boots, because they were too pretty to pass up, to grab the 9s. After wearing them for a while, they were just a bit loose but still very wearable and keepable. I definitely will be adding a little cushion into the shoe for the ball of my foot for the added comfort.
