This Eid Al Adha came up incredibly fast and to be honest with you, I did not prepare enough. I'm writing this post while I'm in the City escaping Sacramento's disgusting heat and horrible air quality (Team Asthma over here). It's Eid and I am happy, happy, happy. I wasn't initially going to blog about this outfit; it was so last minute (minus the shoes, I knew they were going to be my Eid shoes no matter what). But, I had to share the pieces in this look. This Fall, I told myself that while others may stray away from white, it's going to be one of my favorite colors. I've worn it all Summer and I'll wear it all Fall because, why the hell not? Hence, these Who What Wear pointed silver heel mules (also, I know what you're thinking: "When are you going to stop wearing mules?" Stay tuned for the answer because IDK). Added this Mossimo top from Target that I've worn before in a look on my Instagram. I'm so sad to say that after putting the shirt in the wash, it shrank a lot and I'm not sure I can wear it by itself anymore. This tunic, however, is one of my favorite purchases from Eloquii. This brand never disappoints me with their incredibly well made and killer clothing. The tunic is a bit longer than I excepted, granted the model who wore it was 5' 10" while I'm 5' 4". If you do decide to purchase it, keep that in mind. I think if it was any longer on me, I would have returned it. The Terracotta color of the tunic is my favorite shade of orange for the Fall, it's so rich and beautiful. Pair it with the white top and white shoes? Yes, please.
If you've made it this far to the end of this post, you're a ride or die and I have a question for you: in October I will have hit one year of blogging (Alhamdulillah/God bless) and I will be relaunching my site. I want to start featuring style based posts regarding the fit of clothing and my review of them. But, I want your input: when shopping for clothing what do you look for in the sizing? Room in the arms? Room in the bust? The tightness of the back area? Length of the clothing item? How about when shopping for shoes? Is your biggest challenge width? If not, what is?
I'd love your input, so please leave a comment below! Thank you so much!
