Pajama Daywear
I feel like this post, no matter how well written, will still be missing something until I have Tyra Banks come in and say “Iconic.” But, alas, Tyra is busy filming Life-Size 2 and the last thing I want is to take her away from a movie that deserves to be given life. I know I am no Tyra, but I will just say it: this look is ICONIC. You won’t catch me in something like this every day, it’s one of those showstopping looks that make a rare appearance when a statement needs to be made.
This is a look that I would 100% wear to a show at New York Fashion Week. I’ve always felt that fashion season was a great time to push yourself out of your style comfort zone and shoot for something extraordinary. If you ever wondered what a pair of wearable and stylish pajamas looked like, this ELOQUII piece is it. This pinstripe puff jacket and pajama pant duo had fashion week written all over them, and I had to seize the chance to rock it. I have yet to make it to the highly-coveted industry event, but I have continuously manifested it and will continue to do so. It’s something that I have always envisioned myself attending since I was making style collages on Polyvore and getting my monthly Teen Vogue issue in the mail every month when I was in 7th grade. In a way I guess I am making the manifestation even more real and sharing it with you guys here on the blog. You may not have the part but at least you can dress like you do, right?
